Set Your Alarms: Vacation Care Bookings Open Monday

Families are reminded that bookings for the July 2025 Vacation Care Program will open at 7.30 am on Monday 26 May. Click here to add to your calendar.

To secure a place for your child, please visit the Vacation Care Program page on the Parent Portal. There, you’ll find everything you need - including daily session details, booking instructions via the Xplor Home app and a full overview of the fee structure.

As Vacation Care bookings are non-refundable, we ask families to carefully select only the days they need.

Places do fill quickly, so we encourage families, especially those new to the program, to book early and avoid disappointment.

Packing Day: A Tradition of Giving

As part of Westminster’s ongoing commitment to community service and social justice, our Preparatory School will once again participate in Packing Day during Reconciliation Week (Week 5).

This long-standing initiative, supported by the Uniting Church, provides an opportunity for our School community to make a practical and heartfelt contribution to Aboriginal communities in the top end of Australia.

Packing Day is a cherished tradition in which families are invited to donate good-quality, second-hand children’s and youth clothing. These generous donations are sorted and packed into cartons and sent to support individuals and families in need, often in rural and isolated areas where access to such essentials is limited.

Students from Reception to Year 6 are encouraged to bring in clean, wearable clothing and place them in the clearly marked cartons that will be available in the Chapel foyer throughout Week 5.

This simple act of kindness reinforces Westminster’s values of compassion, inclusion and service, offering children a tangible way to contribute to the wider community.
