Future Foundations: A New Junior Primary Building for Westminster

Westminster is excited to share plans for the new Preparatory School — a purpose-built facility that will redefine the early educational experience for children from Reception to Year 3.

Thoughtfully designed to nurture curiosity, connection and confidence, this project marks the next chapter in Westminster’s commitment to delivering Adventurous Education in inspiring, future-focused environments.

The new Junior Primary facility will be more than a learning space — it will be a place of belonging and wonder.

Every element has been shaped by our belief in the power of education and nurturing every aspect of a child’s development, stretching learning beyond the classroom into real-world, inquiry-led experiences.

Future Foundations is the second chapter of Westminster’s Campus Masterplan, dedicated to redefining the Preparatory School experience.

Each phase of the Masterplan reflects Westminster’s core values and ongoing investment in the future of education.

This new space gives us the freedom and flexibility to respond to the needs and strengths of every learner. It’s a place where children can develop their voice, agency and love of learning.

A New Home for Learning and Wellbeing

The new double-storey building will become the heart of the Preparatory School and feature up to 16 classrooms, specialist spaces and breakout areas for our youngest learners.

Designed to create calm, engaging and responsive learning spaces, the new facility will also include areas dedicated to mindfulness, movement and community connection — reinforcing Westminster’s belief that wellbeing is foundational to learning.
