Delivered ahead of Year 11 subject selection this program ensures students and families are well informed and well supported at a critical decision-making point.
What is Morrisby?
Morrisby is an online psychometric career profiling platform that helps students understand their strengths, abilities and interests. Through a series of carefully designed assessments students gain meaningful insight into how they learn and where their natural talents lie.
Each student receives a personalised profile built around strengths and ambitions, offering insight into abilities, preferences, motivations and personality. This process raises aspirations and promotes excellence by helping students better understand their potential.
The profile provides a practical tool that supports purposeful conversations about subject choices, careers and further study.
How it works
All Year 10 students complete the Morrisby assessment online which takes approximately two hours.
The assessment includes
- Psychometric testing
- Subject and aptitude assessment
- Interest and motivation profiling
Results are delivered through an interactive platform that generates personalised career and study suggestions aligned to each student’s unique profile.
Students can also explore opportunities using the interactive What-If tool. This allows qualification levels to be adjusted so students can see how new subjects and careers become available, encouraging exploration and flexible thinking.
Career and study insights
Career and further study suggestions are drawn from a database of more than 800 careers and 400 study options. Recommendations are based on scientific profiling of abilities and personality combined with psychometric assessment of career interests, work preferences and attitudes to employment.
