Fricker Performing Arts Scholarships (Year 7 commencement in 2028) 

Each year, Westminster School proudly awards the Fricker Scholarships to new or continuing students entering Year 7 who show exceptional promise in Music and Dance. These scholarships are designed for students with both the passion and potential to make a meaningful contribution in one or more disciplines. 

Established through a generous bequest from the Frederick Thomas Trevett Fricker Estate, the scholarship honours a legacy of artistic spirit and supports the next generation of performers as they flourish within Westminster’s vibrant creative community.   


Fricker Music Scholarship (Year 7 commencement in 2028) 

Westminster School’s Music Program provides a rich and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to develop their musical talents, creativity and confidence. Through a comprehensive curriculum, private tuition opportunities, diverse ensembles and regular performance experiences, students explore both traditional and contemporary music while building skills in collaboration, leadership and artistic expression. Supported by outstanding facilities and expert staff, the program nurtures a lifelong appreciation of music and empowers students to pursue excellence both on stage and within the broader community

Application: Online submission and audition for shortlisted candidates.  
Benefit: 50% remission of tuition fees per annum from Years 7 until the end of Year 12.

Fricker Dance Scholarship (Year 7 commencement in 2028) 

For talented young dancers with a passion for performance and a desire to pursue excellence, the Fricker Performing Arts Scholarship (Dance) offers an outstanding opportunity to develop technical skill, artistry and confidence within Westminster’s vibrant performing arts community. Designed to nurture aspiring dance professionals, the scholarship provides access to exceptional training, performance opportunities, expert mentoring and a supportive environment that encourages creativity, discipline and personal growth. Through exposure to diverse dance styles, collaborative productions and a culture of artistic excellence, students are empowered to realise their potential, refine their craft and take meaningful steps towards future pathways in dance and the performing arts.
