Early Learning to Year 12

Student Achievements - Edition 14 - 2022

Congratulations to the following students on their achievements...

Last term, Naomi Phegan (Year 9) travelled to the NT in June and competed in the IPSC National Handgun championships in two handgun divisions (Production and Production Optics). With over 500 competitors in very tough conditions of extreme heat and long hours of competing for over 12 hours a day, Naomi managed to work through her challenges, including being affected by heat stroke to win the national championship in both divisions including her age group. This is the first time in Australia, that there has been a double national champion achieved by a 14 year old.

Naomi has been chosen to represent Australia as the Super Junior representative for production division as part of the Australian Team. Naomi, along with her brother James ('21) and father Paul, will travel to Thailand in November to compete in the World Shoot XIX against over 1500 competitors from all around the world. Naomi will be representing Australia to compete in this international match for the title of World Champion.
