Sophie
AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety, including Teacher of Infants and Preschool Aquatics, AUSTSWIM Assessor
Sophie is studying a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and Aqua Sensory. Sophie is a Mum to three children and two step-children, and loves camping, fishing and the beach. Sophie has traveled around Australia in a caravan! Sophie loves working at WestSwim because she gets to build great relationships with the students and families. Sophie also loves the passionate team that she works with and the beautiful grounds that she gets to see out the windows each day.
Rebecca
Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
Rebecca is studying a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary). Rebecca's favourite foods are sushi, chocolate, and laksa. When not playing with her three kids and her dog, Rebecca also enjoys playing volleyball! Rebecca is new to the WestSwim team but has been a swimming parent for many years. Rebecca loves working at WestSwim because it's a great swim centre with relaxed and friendly people!
Sarah

Sarah is studying Health and Medical Science. Sarah's favourite food is sushi and she has two dogs! Sarah is a former competitive swimmer and her favourite event was the 200m Butterfly. Sarah loves working at WestSwim because she loves working with all of the children and watching them improve and achieve their goals.

ASCTA Swimming Teacher
Jake is studying at Westminster as a Year 11 student. Jake loves playing basketball and is a swimmer at the Marion Swim Club. Jake loves working at WestSwim because the families and staff make it easy and enjoyable to come to work!
Kai

Kai's favourite food is pizza! Kai also loves going for a swim and playing basketball. Kai loves working at WestSwim because of the friendly staff and families and the amazing community!
Suzie

Suzie's favourite pet is an alpaca named Momo! In the summer, Suzie loves going to the beach for a swim in the ocean. Suzie loves working at WestSwim because she loves seeing the children learn new skills. Suzie loves to see the children learning to swim and be safe in the water as it's such an important skill to have when living in Australia!
Yvonne

Yvonne loves going boogie boarding! Yvonne also loves spending time with her granddaughter and being in the garden. Yvonne's favourite movie is Frozen! Yvonne loves working at WestSwim because she loves getting to watch the children learn to swim and develop their skills.

Connor is studying Forensic Science. Connor is a Surf Life Saver, has a golden retriever puppy named Harley and enjoys eating cheesecake! Connor loves working at WestSwim because the culture is so supportive. Connor loves teaching and believes that swimming is one of the most important skills you can learn!
Abbey

Abbey is studying Early Childhood Education. Abbey loves riding rollercoasters, enjoys baking and her favourite movie is Tangled! Abbey loves working at WestSwim because it's a friendly and welcoming environment.

Karen loves travelling, especially around Australia! Karen has a spoilt but faithful Weimaraner named Asha who she loves a lot! Karen likes eating Mexican food and her favourite movie is Shrek. Karen loves working at WestSwim because she loves being part of the team and working in the Westminster community.

Ashlee is studying a Bachelor of Secondary Teaching. Ashlee loves the beach, the colour light blue and her dog, Kodi! Ashlee loves working at WestSwim because she loves being able to teach kids how to swim and she enjoys seeing them love to be in the water!

Izzy is currently in Year 12 and has been a Boarder at Westminster for three years. Izzy lives on a farm and has been a dancer since she was four! Izzy loves working at WestSwim because she loves swimming and hopes to share that love with everyone else too!

Amy is studying a Master of Teaching - Early Childhood. Amy learnt to swim at WestSwim and now loves getting to be an instructor! When she's not teaching swimming, Amy also teaches flute and piano, and loves to watch Bluey! Amy loves working at WestSwim because of the lovely community.

Dani is a former Registered Nurse and grew up in the Flinders Ranges! Dani supports the Geelong Cats in the AFL. Dani loves working at WestSwim because it's a fun and supportive team to be a part of. Having spent much of her own childhood in and around the water, Dani is passionate about helping young children find their own love of swimming while teaching a vitally important life long skill!

Jade is studying a Bachelor of Medical Science. Jade is also currently writing a novel! Jade loves animals and her favourite food is pasta. Jade loves working at WestSwim because of her friendly co-workers, the flexibility and because she gets to work with children.

Liam is studying Computer Science. Liam has a dog called Ruby and he likes to surf! Liam's favourite movie is Toy Story. Liam loves working at WestSwim because he likes to make new friends!

Tahlia is studying Primary Teaching. Tahlia is from the Yorke Peninsula and loves to swim at the beach. Tahlia loves to eat chocolate! Tahlia loves working at WestSwim because she loves helping children learn how to swim and how to be safe in the water. Tahlia says it's fun when the children in your class make you enjoy your job!

Hunter is studying a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Hunter is a born and bred Tasmanian! Hunter has a three-legged Border Collie named Padi and he loves to compete in trail runs. Hunter loves working at WestSwim because it gives him time away from his studies each week to be in a fun and active environment!

Maddie is currently studying Registered Nursing at University. Maddie loves playing netball and her favourite colour is blue! Maddie loves working at WestSwim because she loves being able to see the progress the kids make in their swimming throughout the year!

Gregory is a student at Flinders University and is studying International Relations and Political Science, and Law and Society. Gregory moved from Ireland to Australia in 2020 and has been enjoying life, swimming competitively for many years, and loves every minute of being a swim instructor!

Lily is currently completing Year 11 at Westminster School. Lily has four pet dogs, loves the beach and the movie Moana. Lily loves to read and her favourite book when she was younger was "Oh the places you'll go" by Dr. Seuss! Lily loves working at WestSwim because she gets to learn every day from the amazing children she teaches!

Emma is in Year 11 here at Westminster. Emma is a Boarding student and lives on a big farm above Mildura. Emma enjoys riding motorbikes and going water skiing and her favourite movie is Yogi Bear. Emma loves to work at WestSwim because she strives to help kids achieve goals and teach them lifelong skills.

Meg is a Boarding student here at Westminster, currently completing Year 11. Meg is from Bordertown in the southeast of SA. Meg's favourite hobbies include playing sport and playing with her pet dog, and her favourite TV show is Bluey! Meg loves working at WestSwim because she loves to teach swimming to all the smiling kids!

Aida is a Boarding student here at Westminster and is currently completing Year 11. Aida has a pet dog and a white fluffy cat and her favourite movie is Luca! Aida loves working at WestSwim because she loves to see happy children having fun in the pool!

Ginger is currently studying at Westminster as a Year 12 student. In her spare time, Ginger loves hanging out with her three cats and visiting bookstores. Ginger enjoys working at WestSwim because she gets to teach a life-long skill to amazing kids!

Daniel is a Year 12 student at Westminster, and loves outdoor activities, like going to the beach and having fun! Daniel's favorite food is Hawaiian pizza and his favorite movie is Star Wars. Daniel loves getting to know everyone at WestSwim! Daniel loves swimming instructing because it helps him to be a better teacher to such awesome kids he gets to teach throughout the year!

Jed is currently attending Westminster School as a Year 12 student. Jed is a Boarder and lives at school so when he has time he likes to play cricket and likes to watch his favourite movie, Cars! Jed loves working at WestSwim as he has a passion for teaching and loves to see the progression of his students.
