Senior School Teacher – English

Fixed-term part-time position for 2020 (0.55 – 0.75 FTE). Commencing Term 1.

We are seeking a professional, and suitability qualified English Teacher to join our English Faculty located in the Senior School. You will have a sound understanding of the Australian Curriculum and your collegial and collaborate nature will be evident in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students. The ability to teach Psychology will be highly advantageous.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to:

  • Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
  • Provide feedback and professional support to improve individual student learning outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of a strong learning community and culture
  • Contribute to Pastoral Care and Co-curricular programs of the School

School Nurses

We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses to join our Health Centre and Boarding House teams. In these roles you will demonstrate as a positive, personable and professional practitioner, with experience in health promotion and education, preferably in an education setting working with adolescents and children. Previous experience working as a School Nurse, Accident and Emergency and or Paediatric Nurse is advantageous.

School Nurse - Permanent Part-time working 12 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (during School term time).

Located in the Health Centre, the School Nurse will provide primary nursing and health care, including first aid, emergency treatment and ongoing holistic health care for the School community. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Services, you will work closely with School Psychologists and other Wellbeing staff in the provision of holistic health care that reflects the mental, emotional and physical needs of the student.

Boarding House Nurse - Permanent Part-time working 20 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (during School term time).

Located in the Boarding House, the Boarding House Nurse will demonstrate a commitment to holistic student wellbeing and work in collaboration with the School Health Centre nursing staff, to help coordinate the Boarding House health services program and will provide primary and holistic health care for our boarding students.

Lifeguard

Casual Position

We are seeking an experienced Lifeguard who is readily available to provide lifeguard support Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. In this role you will be expected to ensure the highest standard of safety and supervision within the pool environment, provide friendly, courteous customer service and positively promote the centre at all times.

If you have knowledge and experience of pool supervision, water safety, first aid, resuscitation and rescue techniques and demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, time management and multi-tasking skills, we welcome your application.
