Technologies Specialist Teacher R-6

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Technologies Specialist Teacher to join our Preparatory School on a permanent full-time basis for 2023

This position is responsible for delivering innovative STEM based education to multiple year levels (R-6). Working collaboratively with Year level teams and teaching staff you will use your experience and knowledge of the Technologies curriculum including skills in robotics and coding to deliver and implement learning and teaching programs in line with the Australian Curriculum and school curriculum documentation.

Preparatory School STRETCH Coordinator

Seeking a talented teacher to coordinate superior learning opportunities for students who require additional support, including gifted and talented students.

This role develops, coordinates and administers processes for identifying and supporting the learning of students whose learning needs cannot be accommodated solely through regular class programs, including gifted and talented students. The Preparatory School STRETCH Coordinator teaches students in the STRETCH program, and performs other duties common to all Westminster School Preparatory School teachers. They provide leadership of the STRETCH Learning Support Assistants team in the Preparatory School.

As a Position of Responsibility, this position has a 3 year tenure with a permanent appointment as a teacher.

Food and Fashion Technologies Assistant

Permanent Part-time (22.5 hours per week during school term) - commencing Term 1, 2023

The Food Technologies Assistant provides assistance to the senior school Food and Fashion Technologies faculty by maintaining and preparing tools, equipment and materials, helping with faculty events, and performing general duties that support the effective operation of Technologies programs in food and fashion specialities. The Food and Fashion Technologies Assistant is employed on a part-time basis during term times to support lesson needs.

We are seeking a passionate classroom assistant with knowledge of food and fashion technology concepts, experience with handling relevant equipment and a desire to contribute to helping our students achieve their best.
