Head of Student Diversity

The position of Head of Student Diversity is key in the leadership of the academic program of Westminster School. The Head of Student Diversity reports directly to the Director of Learning and is responsible for all aspects of learning, teaching, assessment and monitoring in the Student Diversity area. They act as a role model and mentor to the members of their faculty team, as well as performing line management responsibilities. The Head of Student Diversity works closely with Curriculum Leaders, Heads of Faculty, the Preparatory School Stretch Coordinator, faculty staff and all teachers to support the deployment of adjustment and modification of academic work across the faculties.

Full-time, fixed term tenure of 3 years – Permanent appointment as Teacher.

Support

Laboratory Assistant

Permanent, part time 14-16 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (during school term time).

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our Science faculty on a permanent basis.

Commencing Term 4 2019 the Laboratory Assistant will work 14 hours per week, providing in class support and administrative assistance to the Science teaching staff under the management of the Curriculum Leader Science. Key responsibilities include preparing experiments, providing classroom assistance, stocking and maintaining laboratories and undertaking administrative tasks.

With the construction of our new Inquiry and Innovation Hub underway, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to support the Science faculty in making the transition to the new space in 2020. Permanent hours will increase to 15-16 hours per week in the new year to support the transition.
