Boarding Scholarships

Students are provided with excellent opportunities to live and learn within the contemporary Boarding facilities on our campus. Preferences for Boarding Scholarships are given to students from rural or regional Australia. Applicants shortlisted for interview will be required to supply evidence of their local community interests, service and accomplishments, as well as reasons for wanting to attend Westminster School.

Boomsma Scholarship

The Clifford Boomsma Boarding Scholarship is awarded each year to new Boarding students entering Years 7 to 10 at Westminster School. The recipients will be all-rounders who display outstanding personal qualities and ability, in both academic and co-curricular areas. The Scholarship is named in honour of Clifford Boomsma, a generous benefactor, who had a passion for the land and horticulture.

Application process: Online submission and interview for short-listed candidates.
Benefit: 50% remission of the Boarding fee (excluding tuition) per annum until the end of Year 12.
