Reunions

This Friday, we have our Class of 1979’s 40 Year Reunion Dinner in the David Jarman Room. We then take a break for a few weeks before we enter into Old Scholars’ Week with the Class of 1969 50 Year Reunion on Friday 26 July.

Last Friday we held the Class of 1999’s 20 Year Reunion and what a great night it was! Special thanks to Brooke Parker for providing a very entertaining Toast to the School. Photos from our reunions this year (1 Year, 3 Year, 10 Year, 20 Year, 25 Year, 30 Year) can now be checked out via the Old Scholars’ facebook page: www.facebook.com/WestminsterOldScholars.

Giving Day

Thank you to the many Old Scholars who took part in the School’s Giving Day, Thursday 20 June. WOSA is a supporter of the Sports Pavilion project as we see this as being very valuable for Old Scholars’ events and use in the years to come. The time has also come to farewell the ‘old changerooms’ that have served us for decades (one of three original buildings on the School grounds). Your generosity will mean that the project will be get the green light to proceed to the next stage.

Old Scholars’ Day

On Friday 26 July, we will begin the day with a School Tour at 10.00 am to be followed by a Morning Tea at 11.30 am and the Old Scholars’ Assembly at approx. 12.30 pm. An Open Invitation is extended to all Old Scholars to join us on this morning. Specifically, we are ensuring invitations are sent to Old Scholars who have achieved their 50 Years, which means Classes 1965 to 1969. If you fall within this range and don’t receive an invitation either by email or post, please contact WOSAEO Peter Trenorden (’77), T: 08 8276 0234 or E: os@westminster.sa.edu.au

Annual Dinner

The Annual Dinner this year will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in the exclusive Gilbert Suite. It will be a momentous occasion as former WOSA President and long-serving committee member Andrew ‘Ange’ Harding (’77) will be retiring from the WOSA committee. Andrew is WOSA’s longest serving President with seven consecutive terms to his name. Please join us to thank Andrew for his outstanding service to WOSA and Old Scholars, in general. The Annual Dinner can be booked through this link www.trybooking.com/book/event?eid=444853&

Please note that there is an ‘all inclusive’ earlybird price of $90.00 per person on offer until Friday 5 July and there is a special ‘all inclusive’ price of $50.00 for Old Scholars from the Classes of 2014 to 2018.
