Head of Dance - Edition 8 - 2021

Everyone in the Westminster community is invited to our Dance Allsorts production, to be held next Thursday 3 June from 7.30 to 8.45 pm. This concert is to be held in the Michael Murray Centre for Performing Arts and entry is free.

This annual event has been devised to celebrate and showcase the 80 students from Years 7 to 12 who have undertaken dance as a curriculum subject this semester. The program will feature performances from each class group, with some dance pieces being teacher devised, while other dance works have been developed and created by the students themselves.

The evening will highlight the dance students in a variety of contemporary dance styles, and provide an insight into the broad learning that occurs within this unique performing arts subject.

Dance is a fabulous subject to study at Westminster School; it is a vehicle for self-expression, physicality and creativity.
