SATAC

To date, only 52 students have applied to SATAC. Applications are now open for both University and TAFE. It is important that university applications are in before the end of the term in order to avoid paying a late fee. Of the students who do have an application, many have not yet paid their $45. If this is paid after the end of September, the fee increases to $185. SACE results and ATAR will be available on Tuesday 14 December, preferences can be changed up until Wednesday 15 December.

Please note, there is no fee to put in a TAFE application but offers are made based on the timing of the application - the earlier the application, the more likely the student will get an offer. There are some great TAFE courses that are either stand-alone or can articulate into university courses.

Resumes

If students intend to apply for a position it is important that they have an up to date resume. There are examples in SEQTA giving ideas as to how to write a good one with a list of what should be included. Students should also consider an e-resume.
