Sing Sing Sing and Winter Solstice Bandstand

Term 2 is by nature a very busy term for the whole school with various year level camps and Naplan in amongst many other excursions and opportunities for students.

The Performing Arts program also hits its straps after rehearsals during Term 1 (and many of the students involved in the musical as well!).

The Year 12 Play runs this week, Dance Allsorts in Week 7, as well as House Music and exam week in Week 8 for Stage 1 and Stage 2 students.

Some families would know we previously ran Band Night and Sing at different times during the term but other events have meant we have put these events in a concentrated time during Week 9 of this term. For many students, this will be their first performance for the year, not uncharacteristic because it does take time to build up some repertoire.

Suffice to say, with more flexibility to expand audience numbers we are very pleased to have these two events running during Week 9 and would warmly welcome you to see the work of a large number of students in various ensembles.

The Friends of Music will provide refreshments before the Sing Sing Sing concert (there will not be an interval for this event). The Friends of Music will also provide refreshments before the Bandstand and during the interval.
