Carols and Nativity

Thursday 7 December saw the final performance for the Junior Primary Nativity. It was once again a wonderful performance by our Junior Primary students who were working all term on this event. Thank you and well done to Karen Wandel who put the whole event together. Well done to all the students involved.

The JP Nativity was followed after by Carols on the Green, the Westminster equivalent of Carols by Candlelight. Choirs from Year 3 to Year 12 were involved as well as the Senior Orchestra, Big Band 1, a number of staff and music tutors, as well as members from our community. It was a lovely evening to have the community celebrate the lead into Christmas. Thanks to all the students involved, especially the senior students for coming back to support their peers. Well done to Chris Gould for organising all the beautiful music for this event.

Instruments and Music Lessons

A reminder to all students (parents) who hire instruments. If students are not continuing to hire an instrument through school they must be returned to Jaime Willson in the music office. Instruments not returned will incur the normal charges.

Students who have enrolled in instrumental or vocal tuition will continue into 2024 unless a discontinuation of tuition form has been completed, or students have left school. In any case, please advise the music office. To avoid further charges a discontinuation form must be submitted to the music office.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

On behalf of the Music Department I extend best wishes to all families for a happy and restful time together. A sincere thanks to parents for constantly transporting students to early morning rehearsals throughout the year, and your support at all of our Music concerts. It is heartwarming to have such wonderful support and even though sometimes students may not say as much, they appreciate performing to enthusiastic audiences as much as we do.
