Advancement and Marketing Manager - Edition 15 - 2018

It’s been a whirlwind first six months but there have been some great wins across the Development team and I now feel firmly entrenched in Westminster life. It still amazes me the level of activity that happens throughout the School each day. I love hearing about the student successes and witnessing the amazing community support via our volunteers. Our team are regularly in classrooms and assemblies taking pictures, posting them on facebook, attending field days, taking school tours, hosting Old Scholars and community events, and sharing our wins with the media and greater community.

I arrived just prior to the major announcement of the Campus Masterplan. We had a successful launch with great support from the public and school community. By next year, our campus would have already started transforming with the Inquiry and Innovation Hub already nearing the end of construction.

This term we are proud to launch our new “look and feel” School website. This site has been designed as an external marketing tool, primarily to market our School to prospective parents. In saying this, we still have a community section on the site that I know some parents have come to rely on. It may take a while to navigate the new menus, but please use the search functionality or follow the link to head straight to the Community section.

We have also have a message from our Principal – Simon Shepherd which we feel really captures the essence of the School and its values. You can watch this message on the Principal's Welcome page.

And if you wish to enter Inspire from the website, once you have gone past the home page, you will see that you can jump to the ‘Parent Portal’, which will directly link you to Inspire.
