Come for an hour or settle in and stay for dinner!

WestFest – a twilight event to celebrate the School’s 60th Anniversary. Enjoy a picnic on the Courtney Oval, surrounded by green open space and good friends with the afternoon sun slowly sinking in the background. Wander through the twilight market and enjoy a line-up of live music and student performances. Free activities and experiences for the whole family to enjoy including Nature Play SA, Animals Anonymous and Glitter Bar. Bring your own picnic rug or purchase your own Boho Luxe Picnic Package. (No BYO food or beverage.)

When you arrive, we will ask you to please check in using our COVID-19 QR Code. Throughout the event we ask you to please follow the directions of our COVID managers and follow guidelines regarding physical distancing.

Do I have to pay to attend?

General admission is free, however to ensure we follow the guidelines put in place by SA Health, we ask you to please ensure you pre-register your attendance via www.trybooking.com/BOCXH.

What if I want to do WestFest in style?

If you want to do the WestFest in style, book your own exclusive picnic package! For only $30 per head you can arrive to a beautifully styled picnic. Just rock up with everything taken care of including a grazing platter for 10, wine package, and your own styled picnic area with low ground table, assorted luxe rugs and cushions (for the entire event.) Tickets are limited and sold in a table for 10 (not sold separately.

Where is WestFest happening?

WestFest will be held on the Courtney Oval (adj. Thomas Pavilion) at Westminster School.

Where can I park?

Please park on the School premises where possible. The main car park (Gate 4) and Prep School oval will be open for parking.

What will be happening on the day?
  • Support our wonderful community fundraising groups who will be organising a BBQ, desserts, oysters, drinks, food trucks and more. You will be spoilt for choice! (No BYO food and beverage.)
  • Wander through our community markets with raffles, cow pat lotto, succulents, upcycled fashion, accessories, bric-a-brac, wines, produce tastings and more!
  • Free interactive activities including activities by Nature Play SA, Fly By Fun Glitter Bar and Animals Anonymous who are bringing along pythons, dragons and other interesting friends.
  • Kick back and listen to our wonderful student musicians and artists on our entertainment stage.
What should I bring with me?

Limited seating will be available so we suggest you bring your own picnic rug or low chairs. We aim to make this a cashless event so please also bring along your card for purchasing food and drinks or shopping at the market stalls. No BYO food or beverages.
