Year 6 Students to Exhibit as Part of the SALA Festival
Westminster's Year 6 students are proud to be participating in the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival, one of Australia's largest and most celebrated visual arts festivals.
Held each August, SALA transforms galleries, schools, businesses and community spaces across South Australia into exhibition venues, showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists. Participating in the festival provides our students with the unique opportunity to exhibit their work as part of a state-wide celebration of creativity.
This year's exhibition, All About Me, explores identity, interests and personal experiences. Drawing inspiration from a chosen artist, each student has created a unique artwork that reflects who they are. From developing initial ideas and experimenting with techniques through to presenting their work for exhibition, every stage of the creative process has been thoughtfully led by the students.
Families, friends and members of the wider community are warmly invited to experience this inspiring exhibition and celebrate the creativity, confidence and artistic growth of our Year 6 students.
