Each year, students in Years 3 to 6 have the opportunity to participate in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS). These online assessments are designed to recognise academic excellence, assessing students on their ability to apply classroom learning to unfamiliar contexts using higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills.
Participation in ICAS is optional and at parent discretion. There is no requirement from the School for students to take part.

Testing Dates
Assessments will take place between Monday 4 August – Friday 29 August 2025.
To minimise disruption to the School day, all assessments will be conducted before school. Students are asked to arrive by 7.50 am, as testing will begin promptly at 8.00 am. Unfortunately, children who arrive after the start time will not be able to sit the test.
Due to scheduling limitations and a large number of participants, catch-up sessions will not be possible. Please only register your child if they are available for their rostered session (schedule below). If a test conflicts with a music or sporting co-curricular, families are asked to notify the relevant staff of their child’s absence.

Important Reminders
Please ensure your child’s name is entered correctly when registering. This is the name that will appear on their ICAS certificate.
Students who are absent on their scheduled test day cannot be rescheduled. All payments are final and non-refundable.
Session times will be based on year levels. Due to the number of participants, we are unable to accommodate changes.

To enrol your child in one or more assessments, parents are required to nominate and pay online via the ICAS Parent Payment System.
