Westminster Weekly - Edition 22
Preparatory School
Empowering Healthy Choices
Westminster is pleased to welcome Life Ed SA to our School from 28 July to 8 August as part of our commitment to holistic education and wellbeing.
Life Ed is Australia’s largest preventive health organisation, supporting children to make safer and healthier choices so they can live happier lives. Through their engaging, age-appropriate modules delivered in the Life Ed Mobile Learning Centre, students explore key topics around health, safety and wellbeing.
Sessions are interactive, enjoyable and thoughtfully designed to support students’ understanding of topics such as healthy lifestyles, respectful relationships, and personal safety. A much-loved highlight is Healthy Harold, the friendly giraffe mascot, who brings these messages to life in a way that is both meaningful and memorable.
Each class will have the opportunity to participate in a session, and families are encouraged to speak with classroom teachers for more details about which module their child will experience. To continue the conversation at home, Life Ed offers an excellent range of parent resources available at www.lifeed.org.au/families/resources-for-parents-carers
We look forward to the positive impact this program will have on our students.
