Senior Boys' Cricket
Cricket at Westminster continues to be one of the School’s proudest sporting traditions, combining performance, participation and respect for the game.
Senior Boys Cricket provides students in Years 10 to 12 with an environment to develop their technical skills, tactical understanding and leadership while representing the School with pride while upholding the expectations outlined in the Co-curricular Code of Conduct.
Selection in the First XI is a significant honour that recognises not only cricketing ability but also character, consistency and commitment. Representing Westminster at this level is about striving for excellence while maintaining humility and respect for the spirit of the game.
The Second XI program also plays a vital role in Westminster’s cricket pathway, offering players the opportunity to continue developing their game in a competitive setting. While results are valued, the focus remains on enjoyment, learning and giving every player meaningful opportunities to contribute to the team.
Across both teams, players are supported by experienced coaches who foster growth, teamwork and a lifelong love of the game.
