Tennis in the Prep School continues to grow and offers genuine opportunity for every student, from those discovering the game for the first time through to those already developing strong skills.
For students in Year 3 through to Year 6, the Green Ball competitions provide the chance to develop technique, understand scoring and build effective court movement in a safe and supportive setting. The focus is on encouragement, enjoyment and steady improvement ensuring that tennis remains inclusive and accessible so each student can progress at their own pace.
An exciting addition to the program is the Red Ball Rumble, designed specifically for our younger tennis players. The Red Ball Rumble invites students to play friendly matches in a positive and energetic environment that builds confidence, game awareness and a love for participating in sport.
Team Information
Season: Term 1 and 4 (Summer)
Competition: Years 2/3 Red Ball Rumble - Thursday 4.00 pm start. 4 aside competition played on Senior School Courts.
Competition: Year 3/4 Green Ball - Saturday 8.00 am start. 6 aside competition played both home and away.
Competition: Year 5/6 Green Ball - Friday 4.00 pm start. 6 aside competition played both home and away.
Training: Wednesday 2.10 pm-3.30 pm.
Uniform: Westminster sports uniform.
