Soccer
Soccer in the Prep School continues to grow and is strongly supported by staff who have shown long standing commitment to the program. It remains a popular choice at Westminster with increasing numbers of students choosing to be involved each year.
The program supports a wide range of experience levels. Students who are new to the game learn the basics in a supportive environment while those with more developed skills are encouraged to extend their play. Training focuses on developing strong fundamentals, building confidence and encouraging positive team play. Match play emphasises participation, enjoyment and learning through shared experience.
In addition to Co-curricular Soccer, leading development coach Neil Young delivers a specialist Development Program in Terms 2 and 3. This provides further skill development and game awareness for students who wish to be challenged alongside likeminded peers. This approach ensures that every student can enjoy being part of Westminster Soccer while also offering meaningful extension opportunities for those who seek it.
