Football
Football in the Prep School continues to grow in strength and numbers.
Football is offered from Years 2 to 6 in a program that is inclusive and caters for students discovering the game for the first time through to those who have experience in playing for School or at Club level. Our coaching group is committed to developing strong fundamentals, game understanding and a strong sense of team spirit.
Training and match play emphasise maximum participation and equal opportunity for everyone with shared time on the ground and experience in a range of positions. Many students have their first football experience at School and we take pride in making this a positive and enjoyable introduction to the game.
Team Information
Season: Term 2 and 3 (Winter)
Competition: Year 2 – Saturday 8.00am-10.45am (times vary) at West Beach Playing Field
Competition: Year 3/4 – Saturday 8.00am-10.45am (times vary) at West Beach Playing Field
Competition: Year 5/6 – Saturday 8.00am-10.45am (times vary) at West Beach Playing Field
Training: Wednesday 2.10 pm-3.30 pm
Uniform (training): Westminster polo or football guernsey, Westminster sport shorts, football socks, boots and mouthguard.
