Preparatory Dance Collective

Preparatory Dance Collective is a full year commitment with classes commencing Week 3, Term 1. Entry is by digital audition. This class will appeal to male and female students and is offered in place of the year level Dance class for successful applicants.

Preparatory Dance Collective is for students in Years 4-6 with a high level of skill and experience in contemporary, jazz and/or ballet technique and who are seeking to extend their skills through performance opportunities at Westminster Events. Interested students should nominate as an expression of interest. These students will be forwarded details of audition registration and video audition requirements once nominations close. Places will be offered following successful audition.

The Preparatory Dance Collective meet as a company each week to create innovative and challenging dance material in a range of genre and with an emphasis on pace of class and development of performance skills for experienced, passionate and dedicated dance students.

The Preparatory Dance Collective will perform at Assemblies, Westminster Events and the Term 4 Co-curricular Dance Performance.

Preparatory Dance Collective takes place on Tuesday 3.45 pm - 5 pm in David Jarman Room
