Prep Cricket
Cricket in the Prep School caters for all students, from those new to the game through to more experienced players. The program is tailored to support each child at their stage of development. Students with playing experience are provided with more traditional competitive fixtures, while those earlier in their cricket journey take part in a participation focused program. Irrespective of the level of play every student is given meaningful opportunity to bat, bowl and field, with the focus on skill development and enjoyment.
Team Information
Season: Term 1 and 4 (Summer)
Competition: Year 2 – Friday 4.00 pm start. Mixed 6 aside Master Blaster T12 competition played at Glandore Oval.
Competition: Year 3 – Friday 5.15 pm start. Mixed 6 aside Master Blaster T12 competition played at Glandore Oval.
Competition: Year 4/5 – Friday 4.00 pm start. 6 aside B Grade (hard ball) T20 competition played both home and away.
Competition: Year 5/6 Girls – Wednesday 4.00 pm start. T12 competition (hard ball) played at Park 17, Greenhill Rd.
Competition: Year 5/6 – Saturday 8.00 am start. Full team A Grade White (hard ball) SACA T20 competition played both home and away.
Competition: Year 5/6 – Saturday 8.00 am start. Full team A Grade Green (hard ball) SAAS T20 competition played both home and away.
Training: Wednesday 2.10 pm-3.30 pm.
Uniform: Westminster sports uniform. For Saturday Year 5/6: Westminster white cricket polo and white pants.
