Chess Club

Led by Preparatory School Teacher, Jeremy Jury

Westminster Chess Club has been running for over 25 years. It has traditionally been run for Prep School students, but since 2025, it has also been available to Senior students and has formed part of Winter Intercol. The chess club is run by Mr Jury in conjunction with chess professionals, Alan Goldsmith and Bill Jordan, who have both held multiple state championships. Chess will run after school (3.30-5pm) on Mondays in Terms 2 and 3.

Chess Club meets on Mondays from 3:30pm - 5:00pm in Terms 2 & 3.
