Canto Choir

The Canto Choir provides students from Years 3 and 4 the opportunity to further extend their singing skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. . This group is open to any interested students with no audition process required.

Involvement in the Choir provides an opportunity for children to develop and extend their love of singing in a relaxed environment, and to develop performance and teamwork skills whilst learning a wide variety of repertoire. It is important that all children understand they need to be committed to the choir, demonstrating good organisational skills and regular, prompt attendance at rehearsals. 

This choir rehearse every Wednesday from 7.45am. Students are expected to arrive at 7.40am and be ready to start at 7.45am. Rehearsals will commence Week 3, Term 1 and continue throughout the year, concluding late in Term 4.

Performance opportunities include school assemblies, Sing Sing Sing, Prep Showcase, Grandparents Day and Carols on the Green, to name a few.
