Recognising Outgoing Council Members Jo Liptak and Steve Sanders
At the end of 2026, Jo Liptak and Steve Sanders will conclude their service on Westminster School Council following many years of valued contribution to our School community.
A former Westminster parent, Jo joined Council in June 2019 and has brought considerable legal expertise, sound judgement and a thoughtful approach to governance throughout her seven years of service.
Former Westminster parent Steve Sanders joined Council in May 2021 and has made an important contribution as Council’s representative for Boarding. A farmer and business owner in the Clare Valley, Steve has brought valuable regional, agricultural and business perspectives to Council, together with a strong understanding of the communities our boarding families call home.
On behalf of Council and the wider Westminster community, I sincerely thank Jo and Steve for the expertise, time and commitment they have generously given to the School.
With their departure, Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from members of the Westminster community, with a legal or Boarding background, who may be interested in contributing their professional expertise and experience to the governance of the School.
