Westminster Weekly - Edition 54
Preparatory School
Scheduled Concrete Pour
As the Preparatory School redevelopment continues, we have another concrete pour scheduled for Monday 25 June.
Families of our youngest students may continue to use the two designated Kiss and Drop areas. Please be aware there may be one or two concrete trucks in the queue at times which could cause minor delays.
If your child is in Upper Primary or Senior School and feels confident to do so, please again consider dropping them on Alison Avenue and allowing them to walk into School independently. This will help minimise congestion and is greatly appreciated.
Please note every effort is being made to schedule truck movements outside peak times.
SEQTA Workshop Invite
We warmly invite you to attend the first of our Parent SEQTA Check-In Mornings, designed to help families better understand and engage with their child’s learning information.
We encourage you to visit our SEQTA information page and How To Video Guides to support families in accessing and understanding student learning information.
During the session, we will guide you through:
• Accessing and interpreting your child’s semester report
• Understanding Marksbook and assessment results
• Navigating key features of SEQTA to support your child’s learning journey
There will also be an opportunity for questions and informal discussion over tea and coffee. This session is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence in using SEQTA and to connect with staff in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Event details:
Date: Monday 1 June

Opening the Doors to Music Learning in Week 10
Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for a series of open rehearsals during Week 10 as our Preparatory School co-curricular music ensembles share their learning and progress from across the term.
These informal sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for families to experience the joy of music-making at Westminster and to see students developing their confidence, collaboration and performance skills within their ensembles.
Please note that rehearsals will continue at their usual times and locations. Family members are invited to attend for a 15-minute portion of each rehearsal, either at the beginning or end depending on the ensemble. As these are working rehearsals, standing room only will be available in rehearsal spaces.
