Running Technique and Speed Training resumes in Week 2

Our specialist Running Technique and Speed Training program returns in Week 2 of Term 1 with sessions commencing on Wednesday 4 February 2026 at 7.15am.

Open to Senior School students from all sports this program was a standout success last year with strong participation across year levels. It is designed for students who are motivated to improve speed efficiency and running technique regardless of the sport they play.

At Westminster we are fortunate to offer expert coaching in an area that is often difficult to access. Sessions are led by Athletic Performance Coaches Gerard Dutton and Kane Viska who are highly regarded for their ability to break down complex movement skills and support students at all stages of development.

Students are welcome to trial the sessions during the first one or two weeks of the term to determine suitability. Following this period consistent weekly attendance is expected to ensure students gain maximum benefit through repetition and progressive skill development.

Nomination for this session are made via Clipboard and can be completed by students directly.

Campion Visit to School

A representative from Campion Education, our textbook and stationery provider, will be visiting School on Tuesday 3 February from 12.40 pm.

Families are welcome to speak with the Campion representative regarding textbook and stationery orders, including questions about current orders or the return of textbooks that were ordered but not required.

This is a helpful opportunity to resolve any outstanding queries early in the term and ensure students have the correct learning resources in place.
