Westminster Football Celebrates Grand Final Victory

Westminster’s Year 10 Football team has finished the season in style, securing a commanding Grand Final win against Pembroke in the SAAS competition on Friday 15 August.

Following a hard-fought semi-final victory over Scotch College, the team, guided by Coach David Wark, entered the Grand Final with confidence and determination.

From the first bounce, Westminster displayed exceptional teamwork and discipline, maintaining momentum across all four quarters to deliver a dominant performance.

The team’s success was not only the result of individual skill but also the strength of their collective effort. Support from the sidelines matched the energy on the field, with players and supporters alike demonstrating the spirit of the Dragons.

A special highlight of the match was the recognition of Team Captain Jack Nickolls, who was awarded the medal for Best on Ground in acknowledgement of his outstanding contribution.
