Westminster Strengthens Boarding Leadership Team
Westminster has announced a new Boarding leadership structure, with recently appointed Director of Boarding, Dee Guillemot-Rodgerson, welcoming two experienced leaders to key roles within the School's Boarding community.
David Finch has been appointed Head of Boys' Boarding and Nikki Walker has been appointed Head of Girls' Boarding, with both bringing extensive experience in student wellbeing, pastoral care and boarding leadership to Westminster.
David joins from Marist College Ashgrove in Queensland, while Nikki joins from Seymour College, where she most recently served as Deputy Director of Boarding.
Acting Principal Andrew Whiteman said the appointments represent an important step forward for Boarding at Westminster.
"These are important appointments for Westminster. With Dee as Director of Boarding, we are pleased to welcome David and Nikki to the leadership team,” he said.
"Together, they bring a wealth of boarding and student wellbeing expertise that will build on the strong foundations already in place and continue to shape a positive and enriching environment for our boarding students."
Director of Boarding, Dee Guillemot-Rodgerson said the appointments reflect Westminster's commitment to providing an exceptional boarding experience for students and their families.
"What excited me most about both David and Nikki is that boarding isn't something they've fallen into, it's something they've chosen," Dee said.
"Between them they bring a huge amount of boarding experience, strong leadership, a genuine passion for young people and a deep understanding of what makes a great boarding community."
Together, the leadership team will focus on strengthening Westminster Boarding through the Four Cs: Culture, Care, Consistency and Courage.
"We want Westminster Boarding to be warm, welcoming, well organised and a place where students know they are cared for, expectations are clear and every member of the community feels they belong," Dee said.
