Westminster Netballers Shine on the National Stage

19 May 2026

Westminster has delivered an exceptional showing at the 2026 National Netball Championships, with students and Old Scholars playing a central role in South Australia’s success and reinforcing the School’s growing influence at the highest levels of the game.

Held during the Term 1 holidays, the Championships brought together the nation’s most promising young talent, with Westminster strongly represented across both Under 17 and Under 19 programs following months of preparation within the State pathway.

Bella Agars, Mischa Human, Daisy Stolle and Ruby Arcadiou were key members of the Under 17 team, while Macy Ackland was recognised in the Under 18 Development Squad. At Under 19 level, Anna Goad, Darcy May-Martin and Elouise Nordhausen each contributed to a high-performing campaign.

South Australia’s Under 17 team claimed the National Championship and the Under 19 team finished runners up, marking a week of sustained excellence across both age groups. Westminster Premier League coach Darren Saul also led the Under 17 team as Head Coach, strengthening the School’s connection to this achievement.

The impact of Westminster extended beyond current students, with Old Scholars Jazz McKay (’25) and Chloe Peacock (’25) playing influential roles. Jazz was once again named Player of the Tournament, securing the honour for a second consecutive year and highlighting an outstanding individual performance.

National selectors further recognised Westminster talent, with Anna Goad and Elouise Nordhausen named in the Under 19 Australian Squad and Mischa Human selected in the Under 17 Australian Squad. Jazz McKay and Chloe Peacock were also named in the Under 19 Australian Squad, reflecting the strength and continuity of the School’s netball pathway.

These selections will see athletes attend a national camp at the Australian Institute of Sport, training alongside the country’s leading emerging players. Anna Goad and Elouise Nordhausen have also been named in the Emerging Thunderbirds squad, reinforcing their progression within the elite pathway.

The Championships remain a significant milestone in the national development pathway, and Westminster’s continued presence at this level reflects a program that is not only producing outstanding athletes but helping shape the future of netball in Australia while setting a confident tone for the season ahead.

With the School netball season now underway, Westminster is set for another strong campaign, proudly fielding two teams in the IGSSA Premier League competition.
