Tournament of Minds

Led by Senior School Teachers, Rebecca Wilkins and Rebecca Mattinson

Tournament of Minds is a problem-solving program for students in years 7-9. Tournament’s aim is to enhance student potential by developing diverse skills, enterprise, time management, and the discipline to work collaboratively within a challenging and competitive environment. Students are required to solve demanding, open-ended challenges from one of the following disciplines: The Arts, STEM, Language Literature and Social Science. Tournament of the Minds preparation begins in Term 2 and continues with a slightly increased time commitment in Term 3. At least one weekend in Term 3 is spent competing in this competition.
