Debating

Led by Senior School Teachers Patrick Moritz, Abby Conner, Will Juniper and Andrea Sherwood

Debating is an important part of our Co-curricular program and offers students the chance to grow their confidence, communication skills and ability to construct reasoned arguments whilst thinking clearly under pressure. Debate Club meets during negotiated lunch times that suit each team’s schedules throughout Terms 2 and 3.

There will be regular interschool debates across the season with dates to be advised. In addition, Debating is now included as part of the annual Intercol competition, providing a wonderful opportunity for students to represent Westminster in a spirited and respectful contest.
