Debating

Led by Senior School Teachers Abby Connor, Andrea Sherwood, Kate Ward, and Patrick Moritz

Debating is an important part of our Co-curricular program and offers students the chance to grow their confidence, communication skills and ability to think clearly under pressure. Debate Club meets during lunch time throughout Terms 2 and 3, where students learn how to form strong arguments, speak with clarity and work collaboratively as a team.

There will be regular interschool debates across the season, with dates to be advised. In addition, Debating is now included as part of the annual Intercol competition, providing a wonderful opportunity for students to represent Westminster in a spirited and respectful contest.
