Westminster Weekly - Edition 46
Athletic Profile Pathway
New Flinders University Athletic Profile Program
As we continue to build on the range of opportunities available to students with a strong interest in sport, we are delighted to introduce an exciting new initiative in partnership with the Exercise and Sports Science Department at Flinders University.
Open to all students in Years 6, 7, 8 and 9, Flinders University staff will visit Westminster twice each year to conduct a sport specific athletic profile assessments for students who aspire to develop their performance and pursue higher level opportunities in their chosen sport.
This program is not intended as a one-off assessment, but rather a consistent twice yearly touch point. Students who commit to participating across a number of years will be able to monitor their physical progress, identify strengths and recognise areas for development, providing a clear pathway to support their long-term athletic growth.
The first assessment day will be on Monday April 20 at 3pm, this is the first week back from school holidays and is a student free day.
To commit to being part of this program please complete the nomination link here.
Further information will be forwarded to the students / families who nominate to be part of this program.
