Residential Data Collection
Residential Data Collection
The Australian Government Department of Education requires us to annually verify our families’ addresses via the Student Residential Address Collection. It also requires us to provide notice to families to ensure the accuracy of this data.
We recently asked families to confirm personal details (via Consent2Go), so no action is necessary if this information, particularly your home address, is up to date. But if you do need to update, please complete by 9.00 am Friday 2 March 2026.
We provide the Dept with the following information for eligible students:
• Student residential address (no student names)
• Student level of education (ie whether the student is a primary or secondary student)
• Student boarding school status (ie whether the student is a boarder or day student)
• Names and residential addresses of students’ parent(s) and/or carer(s).
In most cases, a student’s address will be that of a parent or carer. If there is more than one household involved, the student’s address as recorded is provided. For Boarding families, the address required is your physical home address, which for some will be remote and not conform to a conventional residential address – sometimes we have to work with the Dept to make these unique addresses fit the parameters.
Should you have any questions about this collection process, please refer to the Privacy Collection Notice here.
Updating your personal information, including address:
1. Via SEQTA, you can update personal information under the ‘My Information’ tab.
2. When approving a student excursion or camp, you can update this information via Consent2Go.
3. If you want to provide the information to us or request a new Student Profile Update (Consent2Go) to update yourself, please email the School ws@westminster.sa.edu.au
