Closing 2025 with Purpose and Gratitude
As we come to the close of another remarkable year, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to every member of our school community. This year has been filled with growth, learning, and meaningful moments that reflect the dedication and spirit of our students, staff, and families. Together, we have created an environment where curiosity is encouraged, achievements are celebrated, and challenges are faced with resilience and teamwork.
Our students have continued to inspire us with their enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to one another. From our Year 7 – 11 Prize Giving ceremony which saw academic accomplishments and community spirit recognised, to the artistic expression demonstrated at the recent Art Design and Digital technology show, from sporting prowess on the field, our Boardings Community Service trip to Vietnam and our Champion Senior Debating Team, 2025 has given us many reasons to celebrate.
As we enter our final week of the school year, we have an update on the additional activities our students will be involved in. The aim is to continue learning through leadership opportunities in preparation for Westventure (albeit in the classroom) or getting a head start for 2026. These activities have all been designed with a focus on the Capability Compass, supporting our students to continue to develop skills, attributes and abilities beyond the classroom. If you require any additional information about these activities, please contact your child’s Head of Year or Head of House. You can view the schedule for the week here.
We conclude the school year on Friday 5 December at 3.30 pm. As we look ahead to 2026, we do so with clear intention: to set ambitious goals, to deepen our commitment to meaningful, adventurous learning, and to continue nurturing a culture where every individual feels inspired and supported. Together, we will build on this year’s achievements and step confidently into a future defined by purpose, connection, and the courage to keep learning.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the annual Carols on the Green evening on Thursday 4 December.
Wishing our Westminster Community a festive season full of purpose, fulfilment and connection.
