Building Community at Westminster School
Late last year the Westminster School Parents and Friends Committee held its Annual General Meeting where we farewelled outgoing President Michelle Hutchins, Vice President Simonette Tainton and Secretary Sophia Smit. Each has given many years of dedicated service and we sincerely thank them for their leadership and valued contributions to our School community.
We are pleased to introduce the new Executive Committee:
- President – Lauren Green Gerace
- Vice President – James Speechley-Crowley
- Secretary – Jane Simons
- Treasurer – Jess Koukourou
As the new year begins the Westminster School Parents Club invites families to become involved in this welcoming and active community. The Parents Club meets once or twice per term and plays an important role in supporting School activities fundraising initiatives and events that bring our community together.
The Club leads several flagship events including the much-loved Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon and supports community activities throughout the year. Contributions help fund programs and opportunities that directly benefit Westminster students.
Involvement can be as big or as small as you choose whether attending a meeting sharing ideas helping at a sausage sizzle or sports day stall or taking on a larger role in event planning. There is a place for everyone in the Parents Club.
If you would like to join or learn more please contact Brooke Down at bdown@westminster.sa.edu.au or speak with a member of the Parents Club Executive Committee. Together we continue to strengthen the Westminster community.
