Understanding Your Results
Tertiary Entrance Statement (TES):
- Contains your University Aggregate and ATAR
- Available for digital download from your SACE Students Online account (no longer posted out from 2025)
Selection Rank vs ATAR:
- Selection Rank = ATAR + any adjustment factors
- Published university cut-off scores usually refer to Selection Rank, not ATAR

- Consider pathway courses or Foundation programs
- Remember: Universities make some course offers based on subject performance or best 3 grades
Alternative pathways:
- TAFE courses that lead to university

Education students: Remember to submit your Teaching Capabilities Statement.
