Traffic FAQs
What date do the traffic and access changes begin?
The new arrangements begin on Monday 18 August.
Will staff be available to assist children at drop-off and pick-up?
Yes – staff will be present to support students, especially younger ones, ensuring a smooth and safe transition in and out of vehicles.
Can I still use the car park behind the ELC?
No – from Monday 18 August, this area becomes a dedicated zone for contractors and staff only. It is no longer accessible for family parking or drop-off.
Where should I go if I have more than one child in different year levels?
Please use the drop-off and pick-up location that corresponds with your youngest child.
What if I arrive early for pick-up? Can I park in the Kiss and Drop zones while I wait?
No – the Kiss and Drop zones are for continuous movement only. We ask families not to park or leave their vehicles in these areas to help maintain smooth traffic flow.
Will signage be available to help me navigate the changes?
Yes – clear signage will be in place to support all traffic movements and guide you to the correct locations.
What is the laminated name sign and how do I use it?
Each family will receive a laminated sign with their child’s name. Please place this on your dashboard at pick-up time to help staff identify your vehicle and bring your child to you promptly.
Is there still parking available if I need to come onto campus?
We encourage families to park offsite where possible. Nearby options include Marion Train Station and Alison Avenue, both a short walk from campus.
Are there any changes to ELC drop-off and pick-up procedures?
Yes – the car park behind the ELC is no longer available for family use. ELC families should follow the new entry points and Kiss and Drop instructions relevant to their child’s year level.
How long will these changes be in place?
These adjustments are in response to the Preparatory School redevelopment and will remain in place for the foreseeable future to support a safe and efficient environment.
