School Bus Service Update for Term 2

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring a smooth and timely start to the school day, Westminster will be introducing some minor changes to our School Bus service from the first day of Term 2.

During Term 1, we monitored our School Bus network (runs A to G) and identified several instances where buses did not consistently arrive by the desired 8.30 am timeframe. While some delays were due to isolated factors such as roadworks, others were impacted by more regular issues including increased traffic volumes.

In collaboration with our provider, Willunga Charter, we are now retiming morning routes to ensure all buses arrive at the School by 8.30 am. As a result, students may notice their morning bus arriving up to 10 minutes earlier than usual, though most changes are expected to be around 5 to 7 minutes. In some cases, there may be no change at all. Afternoon services will remain unchanged, with all buses continuing to depart the School at their regular time.

We encourage students and parents/carers to closely monitor the Willunga Charter App throughout the first two weeks of Term 2 to become familiar with any revised arrival times.
