Cross Country Returns in Term 2

Following the success of our recent Athletics Carnival in Term 1, the energy continues as we welcome the annual Inter-House Cross Country event next week.

More than just a race, the Inter-House Cross Country is an opportunity for students to encourage one another, strengthen House spirit and take pride in contributing to their team’s success.

Dates and Time

To support full participation, a timetable adjustment will apply for all students on both days of the event. Lessons 3 and 5 will be swapped to allow the Cross Country event to follow directly after Lunch– this will give everyone extra motivation to run fast!

• Thursday 1 May – Years 10, 11 and 12
• Friday 2 May – Years 7, 8 and 9

Course and Participation

The course is a 2 to 2.5 kilometre circuit designed to challenge and inspire students of all running abilities. As a timetabled School event, participation is compulsory.

Students are encouraged to run competitively or jog alongside their peers, contributing to the vibrant and inclusive spirit that defines this event.

All students are required to wear their House tops and PE uniform.
