Thomas Pavilion Expansion Update
As many in our community are aware Westminster has continued to evolve in recent years. With this comes both opportunity and responsibility to ensure our facilities continue to support the full breadth of School life.
A key priority within our master planning is the Thomas Pavilion expansion.
This significant project will strengthen our capacity to lead in elite sport and high performance while creating enhanced opportunities for connection and celebration across the School community.
To ensure no further disruption to School life during construction of the new Preparatory Centre for Learning, the Thomas Pavilion expansion was intentionally scheduled to follow this major project.
With the Preparatory build now well underway, the Pavilion project has entered its next phase of planning and approvals, with construction scheduled for 2027.
The expanded Thomas Pavilion will provide a contemporary and flexible environment designed to serve students, families and Old Scholars for generations to come.
It will support the continued growth of Westminster while creating greater opportunity for whole-School gatherings, community events and the shared moments that shape a strong sense of belonging.
This development reflects Westminster’s sustained and strategic commitment to building contemporary learning environments and community spaces that support the evolving needs of our School.
Alongside record enrolments and growing waitlists in the Senior School, it highlights both the momentum and the long-term vision guiding Westminster’s future.
As Westminster continues to build on strong foundations, the Thomas Pavilion expansion marks an important step in shaping the next chapter of our School’s story.
We look forward to sharing further updates, including concepts and renders as this important project progresses later this year.
