SEQTA is your parent portal and enables teachers, students, parents and caregivers to track learning progress, assessments, and work submissions, as well as communicate with one another and provide continuous feedback. Importantly, it allows the school to maintain pastoral care information in the same system as the academic information, enabling us to develop our student profiles in a consistent manner in one location.
SEQTA Engage is the parent and caregiver online portal allowing you to be an active participant in your child’s learning.
If you haven’t received the “welcome email” after your child starts at Westminster, please contact the Senior School Office for Year 7 to 12 students (sso@westminster.sa.edu.au), and the Prep School Office for Reception to Year 6 students (prepschooloffice@westminster.sa.edu.au).

Welcome to SEQTA
What is SEQTA and Why It Matters
SEQTA is our school’s online learning and communication platform.
It allows parents to:
- View lesson content via OneNote links
- Monitor assessments and feedback
- Check attendance records
- Access school reports
- Receive important notifications
- Communicate directly with staff
- Check students pastoral care notes
SEQTA gives you clear visibility of your child’s learning journey and keeps you connected with the school in one secure place.
Setting Up Your Account
You will receive a welcome email from SEQTA. This link is valid for 7 days. If it expires, please contact the Senior School Office for Year 7 to 12 students (sso@westminster.sa.edu.au), or the Prep School Office for Reception to Year 6 students (prepschooloffice@westminster.sa.edu.au).
Click the link in the email to create your username and password. Your username does not need to be your email address, but it is highly recommended.
Once your account is set up, you can log in to SEQTA through an internet browser or the SEQTA Engage app.
Logging In on Mobile Devices
You can access SEQTA via a web browser on your computer, or you can download the SEQTA Engage app from the App Store or Google Play.
Once installed:
- Open the app
- Choose manually login
- Enter the school’s portal address: engage.westminster.sa.edu.au
- Enter your email and password to log in
Navigating the Platform – Welcome page
When you log in, you will land on the SEQTA homepage.
Key links are located at the bottom of the screen. From here, you can access the Calendar for school activities, News, Contacts, Absentee information and Links.
In the top right corner, you will see the notifications icon. This shows updates such as new assignments, teacher feedback and released grades. Please check notifications regularly and clear them once viewed, otherwise SEQTA will send an automatic weekly reminder email.
In the top left corner, you will see three lines. This opens the main menu where you can access more detailed information.
Troubleshooting
Forgotten Your Password

If you have forgotten your password, open an internet browser and go to: engage.westminster.sa.edu.au
Click 'Forgot your password?' and enter your email to reset your password.
You will receive an email with instructions to create a new password. Your username will also be included in this email, so please ensure you use the correct username when logging in.
If you do not receive the email, please check your junk or spam folder.
If you still cannot find the email, please contact the Senior School Office for Year 7 to 12 students (sso@westminster.sa.edu.au), or the Prep School Office for Reception to Year 6 students (prepschooloffice@westminster.sa.edu.au). to confirm that your email address is correctly recorded in the school system.
Unable to Log In
If you are having trouble logging into SEQTA on your mobile device, try reinstalling the SEQTA Engage app.
After reinstalling:
- Open the app
- Select 'Manually Log In'
- Enter the portal address:
engage.westminster.sa.edu.au - Then enter your username and password.
Blank Pages in SEQTA
If every page in SEQTA appears blank, try the following steps:
- Log out of SEQTA
- Open the menu in the app
- Select 'Remove School'
- Then log in again using 'Manually Log In'
- Enter the portal address and your login details.
This should resolve the issue.
Welcome Page Not Loading for Android Users
If SEQTA is working but the Welcome page does not load, this is a known issue affecting many Android devices.
SEQTA rolled out a new version of the SEQTA Engage App in April 2026 on the Google Play Store, please download the latest version of the app and re-login.
If you are still having issues, the recommended workaround is to:
- Open SEQTA using an internet browser on your phone
- Go to engage.westminster.sa.edu.au
- Then log in as normal,
- You can then bookmark this page to your home screen for quick access. To do this, tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of your browser and select “Add to Home Screen”.
