Westminster’s 2025 Career Expo offers an inspiring opportunity for students and families to explore the many pathways available beyond School.

This interactive afternoon and evening event will feature a range of exhibitors from leading tertiary institutions, training providers, industry organisations and employers. Across the afternoon, a series of presentations will also be delivered, providing valuable insights into study options, career planning and emerging industries.

Unlocking Athletic Potential: Speed and Technique in Focus

Westminster is proud to launch a new High-Performance program aimed at supporting students from Years 7 to 12 who are keen to improve their athletic ability through focused skill development.

The Running Technique and Speed Training program commenced this week and will continue throughout the rest of the year.

Held every Wednesday morning at 7.30 am, students meet at Thomas Pavilion ready to enhance their form, speed and confidence under the guidance of Westminster Athletic Development Coach, Gerard Dutton.

The sessions are designed to cater for all skill levels, with an emphasis on developing efficient movement patterns and acceleration mechanics that are beneficial across all sports.

Students are encouraged to trial the program for a week or two to experience its value firsthand. Following this, regular attendance is expected for the remainder of the term to ensure meaningful progression and development.

This initiative reflects Westminster’s ongoing commitment to ensuring every child has access to opportunities that support their personal best.
