This session is designed for parents and carers of Preparatory School children commencing or continuing in 2026.
The evening begins with a welcome and overview of Preparatory School learning and priorities led by Head of Preparatory School, Simon McKenzie. Parents and carers will then participate in classroom visits and information sessions exploring curriculum, wellbeing and daily routines across the Preparatory School.
A WaitMate presentation supporting the School’s new Social Media Policy will be included. Specialist learning information stands will also be available in the Michael Murray Centre foyer showcasing areas including Performing Arts, Physical Education, Languages, RAVE, Stretch, Allied Health, Digital Technologies, Visual Arts and more.

Michael Murray Centre for Performing Arts
Welcome address and key messages from Acting Principal Andrew Whiteman followed by an overview of Preparatory School learning and priorities from Head of Preparatory School, Simon McKenzie.
5.30pm
Parents and carers of Junior Primary children (Reception to Year 2) will attend classroom sessions while Upper Primary families (Years 3 to 6) visit exhibition stands in the Michael Murray Centre foyer. Sessions will then rotate allowing all families to experience both components of the evening.
6.30 pm to 8.00 pm
Westminster Green
Community Welcome Drinks and canapes with additional exhibition stands available.
Simon McKenzie will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the new building
