WestQuest Sailing Voyage
Sailing aboard the STV One and All is a dynamic personal development program during which lifelong skills are learnt through challenge and adventure. It is an intensive work and social experience, where students are presented the challenge of acquiring skills to operate a Tall Ship, safely, at sea. Meeting the challenge conveys a sense of achievement and self-worth.

Voyage will depart from Port Adelaide.
Food
All food is provided. Students will be involved in the preparation of some meals.
Program Objectives
The program's objectives are to develop:
- Self-esteem through confidence and a healthier respect for oneself. Sensitivity to others as well as the physical environment.
- Team skills through an awareness of the inter-dependent nature of a community, and
- Maturity and a positive attitude through self-discipline, setting and achieving goals.
The key element is one cannot walk away from a challenge at sea. Meeting the challenge is a highly motivating experience.
Each voyage requires the cooperation of all on board, with students becoming part of the crew, joining one of the three watches tasked with keeping the ship operational 24 hours a day.

Packing List
Whilst onboard you will be given a single locker to store all your personal belongings. Please bring your belongings in a soft bag as there are no facilities to store suitcases or excess gear.
- Head wear: Woollen beanie and a sunhat
- Footwear: 2 x pairs non-black rubber soled shoes
- Socks: one pair each day + two extra pairs
- Jumpers: 2 x warm jumpers
- Long Pants: 2 x pants
- Shirts: 2 x short sleeve & 2 x long sleeve
- Shorts: 2 x pairs
- Thermals: 1 x set
- Swim: bathers + long sleeve rash guard
- Underwear: sufficient for full voyage
- Toiletries: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, deodorant, towel
- Personal medication
- Sunscreen 50+
- Sleeping bag
- Camera
- Cards, kindle or book
- Head torch & spare batteries
- Notebook & pen
- Musical instruments are encouraged, small storage available

Clothes that you wear on board are likely to get dirtied with grease or tar, therefore light-coloured clothing is not recommended.
