Gold Coast

In 2025, Westminster will participate for the first time in the prestigious Australian School Championships (ASC), hosted by Basketball Australia on the Gold Coast.

This national tournament brings together schools from across the country, with multiple divisions catering for different levels of ability. It is a fantastic opportunity for our Senior A Boys team to test themselves against some of the strongest school programs in Australia.

Over the week, students will play 6–7 games, develop their skills, strengthen teamwork, and represent Westminster with pride on the national stage.

Looking ahead, we intend for ASC participation to become a regular feature of our Basketball program, involving Senior A Boys and Girls, as well as Middle A Boys and Girls teams.
