In December 2026, Westminster School is offering an exciting outdoor expedition showcasing the best of New Zealand’s South Island.
The centrepiece of the journey is a four-day bushwalk through the Young and Wilkins Valleys, including an alpine crossing of Gillespie Pass. This experience provides students with a true wilderness adventure in a landscape unlike anywhere in Australia.
Alongside the expedition, students will travel through Queenstown, Wānaka and Makarora, taking part in a range of outdoor activities. These may include day walks, canyoning, white-water kayaking, white-water rafting and sightseeing. This is a dynamic and rewarding experience designed to challenge and inspire.
