Preparatory School Swimming Carnival – Years 3 to 6

The Preparatory School Swimming Carnival is always a highlight of the Westminster calendar, bringing together our Year 3 to 6 students for a day of teamwork, enthusiasm and fun in the pool.
Held at the School’s Aquatic Centre, the carnival celebrates participation, effort and School spirit. Students will compete in a variety of races and novelty events, earning points for their House while cheering on their friends throughout the day.
Key Information
What to Bring
Students are asked to wear their PE uniform with their House top and to bring:
- Bathers, towel and goggles
- Water bottle and lunch
- Sunscreen and a hat
- The school will provide house-coloured swimming caps for all participants
All items should be clearly labelled with the student’s name.
On the Day
Students will sit with their House teams and are encouraged to support one another, display positive sportsmanship and enjoy the atmosphere of the day. There will be a scheduled lunch break between 12.40 pm and 1.30 pm, followed by more swimming and fun activities before concluding with presentations at 3.20 pm.
Students will be dismissed at 3.30 pm.
